Standards
Working With Standards
A necessary ingredient for re-usable data is the development and use of technical information standards. We work with the JISC to ensure that the sector is well represented in those organisations which control the development of such standards, currently providing or supporting expert representation in the following organisations: (1) DCMI (Dublin Core standard); (2) IDF (Digital Object Identifier); (3) ORCID (Author identification); (4) EuroCRIS (CERIF/Research Information) and (5) W3C (Core Web standards).
